Why You Should Join:

The city of Long Beach generously
provided, for our use, the two-acres of
land used by the dog park.
However, ongoing maintenance and
future improvements falls to the
association to coordinate through
organized volunteer events, like the
monthly raking parties, or outsourcing
paid for with funds collected through
dues, fund raising events, donations, gifts,
grants, bequests, and solicitations.
In other worlds, WE NEED YOUR HELP, plain
and simple.

How You Can Help:

1. JOIN! If you come daily, membership
works out to only 7 cents a day. If you
come 3 times a week, membership works
out to only 16 cents a day. Is that really
too much to spend to help maintain this
valuable community resource?

2. VOLUNTEER! There is a monthly raking
party, first Saturday of each month at
7am (there is usually coffee and donuts
provided, so come join us).

3. DONATE! If you are one of these lucky
people who are able to do so, please feel
free to donate to the association. Monies
from membership are fairly limited, so
private donations have been a big help
when planned future improvements
happen, like the water fountains, new
benches, etc....
